About the Practice

The Morning Pages practice takes around 20 minutes each day, while the Night Pages take approximately 10 minutes.

Some days you may want to write more. Other days you may only need a few minutes. The goal is not to perform the practice perfectly. The goal is to create a consistent space to reconnect with yourself.

That is completely normal, especially in the beginning.

The journals include guided prompts and structured reflection to help you begin, but the most important part is simply allowing yourself to start. Even writing “I don’t know what to say today” is enough. Over time, the practice helps you reconnect with thoughts, feelings and parts of yourself that may have been buried under years of coping, responsibility or emotional protection.

You do not need to restart. You do not need to catch up perfectly. You simply return to the next page when you are ready. The practice is designed to support self-compassion and reconnection, not create another place where you feel like you are failing.
